We have chosen a career that is constantly changing. The tools   that we can access are evolving, and our understanding of how   kids learn is always expanding. In response to this, teachers are   always fine-tuning their approach to teaching. Every PD   opportunity that I've attended has changed how I teach,   sometimes subtly and sometimes profoundly. I believe that   attending professional development seminars is a vital part of   our field. This year I attended the EARCOS workshop in Manila   and shared what I learned to my colleagues in an in-house PD   day. We mostly focused on how to incorporate content into Brain   Breaks. Being able to help other teachers use these tools in their   classes was a great experience!
